Description
This Ruby hummingbird had just made the trip across the Gulf of Mexico to southeast Texas during the spring migration. I was at Sabine Woods south of Port Arthur, Tx with a group of fellow photographers when I spotted this tired bird. I watched it for a while chase several birds from the honeysuckle that was right below him.
